The committee consider applications for a number of criteria:

Ordinary membership (i.e. fully paid subscription for the session of application and previous attendance at at least 5 private business meetings) |
Medically orientated |
Attendance at interview. |

Desirable |
Further commitment to the society e.g. committee or council membership, supporting events |
Medical electives Research, voluntary or charity work. Independent organisation |
Appropriate presentation of self and project at interview. |
Following completion of the project successful applicants have 8 weeks to submit their written report. Failure to do so may result in repayment of the award to the society.
