Since 1868, eminent doctors from universities across the UK have officially opened the Session by delivering the Inaugural Address on their specialist subject. This is also the occasion of the swearing in of the year’s Senior President.

This year, we are lucky enough to have Professor Roy Taylor, Director of Newcastle Magnetic Resonance Centre, and national and international leader in combating Diabetes, deliver our Inaugural Address on Tuesday 27th September.

The talk will begin at 7pm in the RMS rooms in Potterow and will be followed by a wine and cheese reception.

Both members and non-members of the RMS are warmly invited to attend.
